What is the MAA?

The MAA is a private, not-for-profit, member-run organization with six airplanes. The organization is located at the Mishawaka Pilots Club on CR 20 (Mishawaka Road) immediately southwest of Elkhart, Indiana and has a presence at the Elkhart Municipal Airport.

Membership in the MAA is open to both private pilots and those interested in learning how to fly.

What does it cost?182

To participate in the overhead investment, new members pay an initiation fee of $450. Low monthly dues ($32) cover the organization's operating costs, exclusive of actual flying charges. The very affordable airplane hourly rates include fuel and maintenance. MAA members who operate from the Mishawaka Pilots Airport (3C1) also belong the Mishawaka Pilots Club.

The MAA uses a state-of-the-art web-based scheduling system that allows members to access from either a touch-tone phone or remotely-based PC.

Airport Office Location

The MAA office is a spacious area available to plan flights. It is located in the club's largest hangar at 3C1. The area is also ideal for use by instructors and students in pre and post flight reviews as well as small committee meetings.
